TWENTY-FOUR YEARS OF SETBACK BROKEN

Mr and Mrs Shola Adenuga were overjoyed as they took their position before the congregation. For the first time in several years, they could afford a smile.
The first time they came to The SCOAN they were probably the saddest. They had been experiencing setback and stagnation which was one of the key problems affecting their home. Mr Adenuga had been a banker and as a fresh graduate, he was supposed to be promoted within 10 years. He worked, however, for 24 years and promotion was not in sight.
“I was working as an Assistant Deputy Manager for all those years and I felt that I was crawling in my career,” he said.
It was after all his human efforts had failed that he decided to seek God’s intervention. He came to The SCOAN where he received the Anointing Water. They prayed and ministered it to themselves, looking ahead to what God would do in their life. When time for promotions came, 758 people were legible for promotion but the bank was only ready to promote 251. Of those 251, only 15 were located to his zone.
Through the power of God in the Anointing Water, he was also part of the selected few and he received his promotion. He explained how he had lost his private cars days prior to his wedding with the result that he had to borrow one to go to his own wedding.
Glory be to Almighty God the Provider of our needs, after the breakthrough, Mr Adenuga was given an official brand new Toyota Camry.
“I advise people to trust in God no matter what happens, no matter what comes. He has done it for me and He will surely do it for you,” he said.
