In this teaching, we will
look at an aspect of Revival in the Church. It is one of the historic
cornerstone teachings of the Church--it's the Blood of Jesus.
Old Testament Type: The
High Priest went into the holiest of all only once a year and that was with the
Blood of the Sacrifice on the Day of Atonement. There is no access into the
presence of God without the shedding of sacrificial blood (see Heb.9:6-14).
The blood of the bullock and of the goat were sprinkled seven times in three
places upon the mercy seat, in front of the mercy seat, and upon the horns of
the brazen altar (see Leviticus 16:11-15; 18-19).
