GOD OF IMPOSSIBILITIES

Mrs Ifiora Eunice Nkem suffered from an ovarian cyst for three years, a problem that made her a frequent visitor to different hospitals and threatened her job. When her trips to the hospital became too frequent, she herself began to lose hope in a medical solution for her problem.

The pain was excruciating as she could hardly walk when the discomfort gripped her. Tired of her daily pain, one day she discovered Emmanuel TV and came to The SCOAN to receive the Anointing Water. She ministered it believing that her own case would not be different to the thousands she had seen on Emmanuel TV. Her joy returned as the pain vanished and she went back to the same hospital where the results of the test confirmed that the ovarian cyst was no longer there.

THRIVING IN DIVING

 The deep sea sparkled as evening came. Plunging into its depths, Christopher basked in the beauty of the South African ocean. Growing up, he never conceived in his wildest dreams that diving would be the profession he would eventually come to champion.

His story to diving glory began with an admission letter to a prominent South African diving school. However, after securing a visa, finances to purchase a ticket were scarce and it appeared the opportunity was about to disappear as speedily as it arose. Mr Okon desperately called on close confidants, seeking to raise sufficient funds for the ticket but no-one was ready to help. Bidding his goodbyes to friends and family in Akwa-Ibom, Christopher made his way to Lagos for his flight, albeit without the finances for the ticket. Before going to the airport, having watched Emmanuel TV on a few occasions, he decided to visit The SCOAN. Standing outside The SCOAN building, he offered a silent, poignant prayer. “God of T.B. Joshua, as I have seen others testify here, grant me my own testimony!” Pulling forth his Anointing Water, he ministered it on his phone and tried calling one of his friends who had previously told him he could not help. This time, the story changed! Required finances were immediately released and several days later, Christopher touched down in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Arriving at the diving school, another challenge arose. The initial complications in travel meant that he arrived late for the course, missing out on some vital lessons. An exam was set for the next day and Mr Okon had zero knowledge on the subject matter before him. Bringing out his Anointing Water, he ministered it on the examination papers, praying for Divine inspiration. He began randomly ticking the multiple-choice questions, using the scarce knowledge he had and relying on divine intervention. The pass mark was 70%; Christopher got 76%! Several months later, he passed with the highest mark in his class and is now a bonafide, professional diver!

ANOINTING STICKER: BULLET PROOF PROTECTION!!!

Breathing heavily, Boukari Amibou knew death was nigh. A gun was pointed at his forehead, poised to fire. Armed Libyan militia surrounded him, discussing how they would dispose of his body. Mr Amibou was defenceless save for a ‘weapon’ his captors knew nothing about!

Abducted and bundled into a remote Libyan jungle, it appeared the last had been heard of Mr Boukari Amibou, a businessman from Benin Republic. After a short argument, the moment of execution had arrived. From point-blank range, his assassin shot. Nothing happened; the gun did not fire. Mr Amibou clutched the Anointing Sticker hanging around his neck, a gift he had received from a friend before travelling to Libya. Furious, the gunman took aim once more and fired. Nothing! Checking the gun, the man was perplexed. Turning it to his own head, he tried once more. This time, it worked. Rushing to the bloodied body of their compatriot, confusion reigned in the camp of his captors. Throwing aside their guns and brandishing knives, they decided to finish the job. However, each attempt to penetrate his flesh was met with an almost stony resistance. No knife, sword or machete could pierce his skin.
Seeing that Mr Amibou was clutching the Anointing Sticker from The SCOAN around his neck, they realised its role in his protection and tried to remove it. One eventually managed to cut the lanyard that held it around his neck but as the sticker fell to the ground, so did the man. Gathering courage, Mr Boukari picked up his Anointing Sticker on the ground, declaring to his captors that they must release him. Several days later, he was a free man!
Deciding to leave Libya by road, his car got stuck in the midst of the desert. Placing the Anointing Sticker on the car engine, it miraculously revived, enabling him to finally leave Libyan shores. His next destination – The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Lagos – to share his mind-boggling testimony!

TRUTH DOES NOT LOSE BATTLES

The sermon of the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua at the Sunday Service on October 19, 2014 centered on this very symbolic subject. Having variously affirmed his adoration for the Biblical concept of truth, the man of God laid emphasis on this central Christian principle. Addressing the usually receptive and inspired congregation, the man of God stated that: “It is only truth that can see us through. Even our Lord, Jesus Christ cannot do anything against the truth because He, Himself is truth. He is the Creator of Heaven and earth. He has no beginning; He has no end. You have a beginning and you have an end. Stop fighting the truth because truth does not lose the battle; God does not lose battles”.
Speaking further, the man of God said that the Word of God is the only acceptable standard for understanding the truth. While admonishing the congregation to strive to make the Word of God a part of their lives, he also posited that it is only by so doing that they can be set free: “Knowing facts about Jesus cannot change your relationship with Him. If you want to know the truth, go to your Bible. Make the Bible your standard because only that can set you free. Take time to splash around in the Word, to absorb it, to imbibe it and to gather it in. It must be an integral part of your being”.
Amplifying further the invaluable power in the Word of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua highlighted the far-reaching impact it can make on the lives of Christians who make it an integral part of their lives: “His Word has healing power, converting power and a purifying power. The Word can keep one from error and sin. If you say your heart is troubled, His Word rejoices the heart; it gladdens the heart. His Word is so profitable. His Word is so enduring”. In his famous style of backing up his sermons with Biblical Scriptures for the sake of expressing their practicality and applicability in today’s Christian living, the man of God drew the attention of the now engrossed congregation to the words of Jesus Christ Himself concerning the healing power of the Word in John 15:3 – “You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you”.
Earlier on that Sunday, Wise Man Racine enlightened the congregation with a spiritually uplifting message titled, HOLD ON TO GOD. The Wise Man’s message made an immediate spiritual impact as it related the prevailing universal crises to the doors of everyone’s particular experience. According to him, “Life is a battlefield and there are many battles to be won”. He also stressed that Christians must not forget to testify to God’s goodness, kindness and mercy each time He gives us victory in any battle.
He went further to exhort the congregation to always see God as their greatest source by giving all glory unto Him, observing that man is incapable of achieving anything without God on his side: “The best man in the world holds his integrity no longer than God upholds him in it. The best man in the world can only maintain his position and honour as long as God keeps him in it.”
He emphasized that we should always hold on to God, knowing that “beyond earthly sorrow is the joy of Heaven”. Adding that we should live in the fear of the Lord more than the fear of man, he concluded that this precept “should be the guiding principle behind every Christian’s faith”.
After praying for the sick and afflicted at The SCOAN Prayer Line, the man of God led the congregation and viewers around the world in a powerful time of mass prayer. Everything that was commanded on earth was commanded in Heaven as prison doors were opened and chains were loosed. Every religious spirit, spirit of doubt, unbelief, error and heresy was commanded out, in the name of Jesus Christ.
As they prayed along with Prophet T.B. Joshua, the congregation released themselves from every ancestral spirit and spirit of their forefathers that had tormented them. They confessed freedom and victory in Christ Jesus, knowing that the truth had won the battle.
Next, the Anointing Water was ministered on all present, being used as a medium to sanctify and purify their spirits, souls and bodies for the service of the Lord.

JESUS CHRIST KNOWS YOUR SITUATION

Different nations across the world joined worshippers last Sunday to worship God and glorify His Holy name as they tuned in to Emmanuel TV.
Bubbling with enthusiasm, the children of God sang melodious songs of praises and worship as they joined the Emmanuel Singers in a divinely charged atmosphere.
The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave a thought-provoking message that put believers on their spiritual toes.
“If you pray and you never hear from God, it does not mean that God is powerless – it means your relationship with God fails to prove that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. If you pray to God and don’t hear His voice saying, ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, it does not mean God is not alive. He is alive but your relationship with Him fails to prove that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is the same God who rescued Daniel, Meshack, Shadrack and Abed-Nego’. Once again he challenged us to reflect inward on our relationship with God.
Later, the man of God moved among the worshippers who were eager to hear from God and touched many lives through prophecies. The congregants witnessed a lot of revelations from which many bondages were broken and evil yokes were lifted from shoulders.
The day’s prayer line session which followed was also memorable to the glory of God as the man of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, saw to the deliverance and healing of those afflicted, including those who threw away their crutches and walked out of their wheel chairs.
Speaking on the topic: JESUS CHRIST KNOWS YOUR SITUATION, Wise Man Daniel uplifted the faith of the surging worshippers through a down-to-earth message of God’s unflinching love and care for His people whom He would never fail to uphold by His Word. The Wise Man enjoined the worshippers not be controlled by their situation and always see the saving grace of God’s presence. His words:
“What is your situation? As a Christian, don’t grumble, murmur or rebel because God is aware. What you are complaining about may be to preserve you for the purpose which God created you for. Remember, seeing what God says will produce and increase your faith. And when it is time for God’s purpose to be fulfilled in your life, there will be a driving force that will change your action and location. Don’t forget that many toil very hard and pray fervently, but the duty of God is to determine the time and season of harvest. Therefore, leave your situation for God because He knows. And because He knows, He will never leave you without solution. As Christians, as long as the world is in place in our lives, Christ will be displaced. As long as self-confidence is in place in our hearts, the confidence born of God will be displaced. Jesus Christ is a democrat- He does not impose His Will on anyone. He allows us to exhaust whatever worldly advantages we feel we have so that, when we have learnt lessons, we would value Him.”
The day also witnessed prayer for the nations, reaching out to a troubled world conducted by Prophet T.B. Joshua, who afterwards encouraged the congregation that due to the distractions in this world, the only way to maintain breakthrough is by meditation.  “I mediate on the Word day and night. Whatever I do prospers.”
Not to leave any room for satan to manipulate, the new Anointing Water was also administered on all present to ensure that no one escaped the anointing of God.
It was a glorious day, the name of the Lord was magnified, Praise the Lord.

YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE GOD

The biblical truth that God inhabits His people and would never forsake His own was clearly evident and exemplified in the last Sunday service at The SCOAN. Heaven literally came down and the glory of God filled the souls of worshipers as they worshipped Him in the beauty of His holiness.
The entire worshippers were spiritually electrified with the splendour of God’s power and faithfulness. His enduring mercy, goodness and grace ran through the whole day’s colourful service.
An array of soul searching, spiritually uplifting songs of praise and worship by Emmanuel singers which touched the hearts of the entire congregation set the tune for the rest of the day’s service.
The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua inspired the souls of the congregants with his incisive and powerful message titled, ‘You Have To Experience God’. The message, which opened the spiritual eyes and hearts of worshippers, became a platform for critical self evaluation of individual’s Christian life with sober reflection as could be seen in the profound calmness that encapsulated the worshippers. The man of God, without mincing words, emphatically stated that until one experiences God, there can be no satisfaction in one’s life. He said that satisfaction in life was not about money or other worldly possessions but about truly experiencing God.
‘’Until you experience God, there will be dissatisfaction in your life – a sense of hunger to know what life is all about, a desire to know what happens after life is over,’’ he said, adding that these are the thoughts that continue to disturb unbelievers.
According to the man of God, age has nothing to do with death as one could be called at a young, middle or old age. However, this remains a big puzzle to those who have not experienced God by their wondering of when, how and what type of death would meet them. He clarified that when one truly experienced God, one would have answers to these questions. ‘’Those who are born of God: believers, born again, born from above long to be there. This is how you know you are born again,’’ he stated.
Figuratively describing this earth as a market, Prophet T.B. Joshua said, “No matter how long you spend in the market, no matter the profits you gain, you cannot sleep there – you have to come back home. It is not a comfortable place to sleep, no matter how beautiful, profitable or good that market is, you must come home; the market is no man’s land.’’
Shedding more spiritual illumination to the worshippers, he continued, “We know where we belong, where faith will be turned to sight. We say we walk by faith but there, faith will be turned to sight. Faith is expecting Jesus to do what He promised. Here, we close our eyes; over there, we open them in the world of glory.’’
Like a bombshell to the congregation whom he had previously enjoined to truly worship God in Spirit, Prophet T.B. Joshua again posited: “When you are worried over when, how and what will happen after this life is over, know that your relationship with God is questionable. Those who have a good relationship with God long to be there just as those who maintain their relationship with God also long to be with Him. Many of them always ask, “When am I going there? When will that be?” But for others, this is a place they don’t want to leave because they don’t know what will happen next. The desire to know what happens after this life is over – that is the thought in the hearts of those who have nowhere to go.’’
On the necessity of adversities in human life, the Prophet raised the worshippers’ understanding to know that “tests and trials are meant for our belief”, noting that “when an issue remains unchangeable, there is nothing we can do.” However, God will not do anything without first revealing it to His servants, he clarified. “The evidence of God in the life of a prophet, a minister of God, is acting with Him, knowing God’s opinion about himself and others. When you act with God, you will know God’s opinion about yourself and others,” he explained.
To further educate people, Prophet T.B. Joshua explained that anybody could gather a crowd, have branches or the largest church all over the world but not anyone could stand a trial without the help of God. He continued, “What the crowd is mostly looking for is outward gifts but to keep this crowd in terms of tribulation, trials and tests, it takes God.” He concluded, “You do not need God to bring a crowd together but to keep them when trials come, God must be involved.’’
After finishing his message, the man of God moved around and prophesied to the lives of many people in which the fundamental problems affecting them were revealed with such identified yokes broken by the power of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus Christ.
The man of God also attended to hundreds of afflicted on the Prayer Line. It was a powerful time of healing and deliverance from diverse afflictions in the lives of those that received prayer. They were all set free from their satanic bondages.
Earlier, Wise Man Christopher had aroused the spiritual appetites of the congregants with his short but deeply spiritually provocative message, titled, ‘The Way To The Kingdom Of God.’  Speaking from John 14:6 as his proof text, Wise Man Christopher quoted the Lord’s Words: ‘’I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”.
“Here, Jesus Christ tells us that He is the Beginning, Middle and End. To get to the Kingdom of God, we must follow the way of the Cross. The way of the Cross is the way to the Kingdom of God,” he began.
He said the way to the Kingdom of God is not without its challenges. According to him, it is full of hatred, thorns, snakes, scorpions, persecution, intimidation, blackmail, slanderous remarks, campaigns of calumny, name-calling, among many other unpleasant experiences. He further stated that “the highway to the Kingdom of God starts on this side of death and the entrance is very easy to find. It is right in front of you, in the Word of God.”
He said the good news is that Jesus died for our sin and broke the power of death by His resurrection, adding that whoever calls on the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, with faith in God’s Word, shall be saved.
“So, keep the Word of God in your mouth, meditate on it day and night and do what the Word says, for this is not only the process of believing but also the way to the Kingdom of God. God is building Himself and His Kingdom into us, making Himself and His Kingdom a part of us as His Word dominates, rules and sanctifies our spirit natures. This shows that God and His Kingdom are within us in the Living Word,” he enjoined the worshippers.
The service came to an end with the mass prayer conducted by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. It was another moment of commotion in the kingdom of darkness as all hidden demonic problems were also x-rayed and flushed out as they manifested.
All the congregants also received the touch of the Anointing Water in order to ensure that no one went back with his or her problem. It was a marvellous day as the name of the Lord was glorified.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE SPIRIT AND THE TRUTH

The Sunday Service on December 7, 2014 at The SCOAN took off on an inspiring note with the choir’s soul-moving deliveries. Like forerunners, their uplifting praise and worship songs prepared the atmosphere for the digestion of the undiluted Word of God. Even the overflows were filled to the brim to cater to the need of those who could not make it to the main gallery to experience God’s consistent and powerful presence at The SCOAN.

The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, spoke on The Relationship between the Truth and the Spirit. Using the Book of John 4:24 and 14: 26 as scriptural references, he urged Christians to imbibe the gift of the Spirit which God Himself sent to them to help them in all their endeavours: “‘But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything…’ – how to sit, stand, greet, look in the name of Jesus”. Speaking further, he admonished them to pay more attention to the Spirit rather than to material things of the world observing that since it is the Spirit that creates the materials, clamouring for the material was mere vanity upon vanity: “Why should we worship materials then? Even you are a material. You are the greatest material, the greatest product. The Word of God is a Spirit, creates material things. Why do you believe that by building cathedral for God you are a child of God? Why should you believe that once you are a president of a nation if you enter a church they should give you the best seat? You are a material. Vanity upon vanity all is vanity”.
Concluding, the man of God urged Christians to keep faith in God and believe that He is reliable: “You have seen God working in the Spirit, you have seen things happening, and you have seen the power of God at work. If you have seen that God is reliable, trust Him; that is faith. I want to pray with you. If there is anyone who is still outside faith in God, I restore your faith; let your faith be restored! Begin to trust God. No one can teach you that trust; it just comes naturally, spontaneously. It is natural; you can’t get it or be taught it”.
Earlier in the service, Evangelist Yinka had blessed the hearts of the congregation and viewers worldwide with a message titled, I Plead Guilty in which she reminded us of the need to approach God in humility and simplicity of heart, knowing that God receives repentant souls.

“When the children of God begin to experience the products of sin in their lives, rather than pointing fingers at their fellow brothers as being the cause of their affliction, they look inward in order to rediscover their route in God. They repent and repair; I mean they amend or change their ways and pray to God for reinstatement. The Bible says God is always ready to reinstate His people, who come to Him in humility and repentance, to their right position in His glory”.

ANOINTING WATER TACKLES TATTOO TROUBLES

The problem that brought Mrs. Favour Amorro from Rivers, Nigeria to The SCOAN was cancer of the arms. When she got married, her problems started when there was no peace in their marriage and Her frustration led her to go clubbing. One day, a friend she met at the club who had tattoos, convinced her to get tattoos as well in the name of fashion. She agreed and had six done. In a dream, she was told that it was not for fashion but rather her initiation into the kingdom of darkness. She found herself going to oceans, eating strange food and was the victim of different attacks and harassments in her dreams affecting her spiritual and physical life. She returned to the tattoo man to have them removed and he used a chemical to scratch the tattoos off her. However, instead of the tattoos to disappear, each of them became a cancerous wound on her arms. The doctors had no solution to or explanation of the open sores apart from offering drugs and injections. Seeing her sorry plight, a friend advised her to go to The SCOAN to seek the mercy of God. Agreeing, she came and received the Anointing Water which she ministered all over her body immediately. In no time at all, the wounds had been completely healed and the sores covered up.

Since then, she can wash, cook and bathe without any pain or problem. She no longer has any pain where the wounds were neither is she pursued by the satanic kingdom that had tried to ensnare and destroy her. She advised that people should be wary of the devil’s schemes by being in constant prayer to God Almighty, our Saviour and Redeemer.

NO SIGN OF INCURABLE DISEASE AFTER MINISTERING ANOINTING WATER

A few years ago, Mr Paul Kamara fell sick and was taken to hospital. The doctors tested him and said he had Hepatitis B which has no cure. The next place for him was the grave and at 14 years this was a terrifying prospect. He was still so young, had so much to offer and had so much yet to accomplish. He lost concentration and this seriously affected his performance and grades. His parents introduced him to Emmanuel TV and they got the Anointing Water for him which he began to minister to himself.

It was exam time for Paul, a period in which he would usually feel dizzy, lack concentration and not do well at all. But this time, he was pleasantly surprised that unlike before he was physically strong and the exams went well. After ministering the Anointing Water and discovering that he no longer had the dizzy feelings he used to, he went to the doctors for a check-up and to his and the doctor’s surprise, he was found negative to Hepatitis B – there were no signs of Hepatitis B in his system! He was healed in the name of Jesus Christ, through the Anointing Water. He advises the world to look at the Anointing Water as a medium God uses to heal, bless and deliver His people.

Adejare Adedeji applied to several institutions for a Master’s degree but was denied despite having good grades to boast of.  Frustrated, he came to The SCOAN for solution and received the Anointing Water. He took it home and ministered it earnestly; praying concerning his future and asking that God’s mercy should speak for him.

We just need to see the faithfulness and trustworthiness of God and our faith will come spontaneously.

JUST AS THE MAN OF GOD PROPHESIED!

Mr. Godwin Akanhu from Abia State, Nigeria, received words of prophecy when he and his wife visited The SCOAN. They came due to the loss of their only child after six years of marriage. When their daughter became sick, they took her to many hospitals and even visited a spiritualist. Their daughter was eight months old when she died. In grief, they decided to come to The SCOAN and that was when Prophet T.B. Joshua told them that he saw them in a cage, a revelation which Mr Akanhu immediately confirmed while explaining their woes.

MAKE THE WORD WORK AND GOD WILL MAKE IT GOOD

The problems of low sperm count and ovarian cyst for Mr. & Mrs. Anand from India, respectively, made child-bearing a big challenge to their faith. During those hard times, Mr. Anand decided to travel to The SCOAN where he had seen many with the same problem receive solutions.

He visited The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water to minister to himself and his wife. She soon became pregnant and despite the doctors being critical, the pregnancy went smoothly. Mrs. Anand continued ministering the Anointing Water throughout her pregnancy. The doctors were still worried, unsure if she and the baby would survive due to her seemingly weak state. To the doctors’ surprise and relief – with ease, she gave birth to a very healthy baby boy. They travelled all the way from India to The SCOAN Lagos, Nigeria, to give their testimony of the grace and gift of God.

FAKE MONEY FAKE LIFE – CONFESSION OF AN EX-FRAUDSTER

When Mr Tachinda was 10 years old, his grandfather took him to his shrine. He was initiated for one week where he had to swallow the tongue of a chicken every day and bathe in the river as part of the process. He began stealing from his father and often ran away from school but this was only the beginning of the germination of the foul seed which had been planted in his life. He started clubbing and meeting bad gangs who introduced him to taking drugs and how to dupe people (defraud people of money). Advancing in his practises, he got tattoos done as directed by the evil spirits. One was of the mermaid he would sleep with in his dreams; another was a cobra that would appear to him when he was fighting so that no one could defeat him. He also had tattoos of a tiger on his body as well. He saw a tiger physically in his village and in a dream he was told the tiger was his grandfather. After doing this, came the power to command people who would comply without hesitation. He had agents working for him all over the world giving him information to help him steal people’s identities and sell their properties. The agents would provide all he needed including false passports so that people would believe that he was who he said he was.

He become fed up with life however as after everything, he ended up with nothing. On the outside, he would mix with the rich but inside he was empty, constantly tormented in dreams by those whom he had duped. UNITY OF THE WORD AND SPIRIT
Sunday November 30, 2014 was a symbolic day as it marked the end of the eleventh month of the year. As such, the Sunday Service at The SCOAN held with all the frills of heavenly joy. The Spirit-filled congregation danced to the melodies emanating from the choir which has always lived up to the musical expectations of the entire church. Their pieces and the energy with which they are rendered touched hearts and created the right mood for the Spirit of God to swing into action. Again, it was another massive turn-out as the congregation, both those within the main church auditorium and those in all the overflows, came in the hope of having an encounter with God.
Delivering a message titled “THE WORD AND THE SPIRIT MUST JOIN”, the man of God Prophet T.B. Joshua highlighted the connection between constant prayer and the fulfilment of our wishes and desires. He explained that the Faith Bracelet was therefore meant to help us cement the unity between the word and our hearts. The man of God also encouraged Christians to meditate on the Word always stressing that it can shape their characters and conducts: “A break in prayer is a break in faith. We are to pray all the time. Faith counts in whatever we do. Are you sleeping or looking? Faith counts.  If the Word dominates your mouth, one day it will pay off. The heart will bring it to fulfilment. We all know when the Word dominates our hearts, it influences our conduct and behaviour. The Faith Bracelet will help you to think about what you read in the Bible”.
According to the man of God, the heart is synonymous with the spirit. This means that the Word will only become very productive if we allow it to germinate on the fertile soils of our hearts. He observed that, the more we allow it to dominate our mouth and hearts, the more it will pay off. Quoting John 6:63 – which says: “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life,” the man of God admonished that failure, refusal or inability to speak from the heart or spirit amounts to nothing: “If the Word is not from your heart and you say, ‘In Jesus’ name’, you are speaking to yourself. You are calling a certain man called Jesus on earth, not Jesus of Nazareth we know”.

Analysing the functions of both the Word and the Spirit, Prophet T.B. Joshua observed that, despite the varying roles they play, both still had to be united or joined to be able to make positive impact on the life of a person. He re-emphasised the role of the Faith Bracelet in ensuring that the joining of the word and spirit for impact is attained: “There are two functions – God’s Word refreshes our mind; God’s Spirit renews our strength. These two must join – the Word and the Spirit. if not, the Word goes nowhere. The Word and the Spirit must join. The Spirit will be released to the degree we stand in reverence or honour of God’s Word. So, what is the function of the Faith Bracelet? To dominate your mouth. When the Word dominates your mouth, one day, it will pay off and dominate your heart”.

On how to read the Holy Bible, the man of God revealed that it has to be done slowly and meditatively, explaining that the Spirit of God is a gentle spirit and therefore is not in a hurry: “You must read your Bible slowly. You may understand the language but it does not mean you understand the Word – because it is not history. You may understand all the grammar, language and idioms as a professor or educated person but that does not mean you know the meaning of what you are reading. Read it slowly first because the Spirit of God is a gentle Spirit. If you want to rush and finish the Bible, you are deceiving yourself. You must read it slowly, attentively and repeatedly”.

And on where to read in the Bible, the man of God taught that it is God that gives direction through the Holy Spirit and as such, Christians are expected to precede their Bible reading with prayer so that they may be given direction: “Many ask, ‘Where should I read in the Bible, as a Christian? Do I start from Genesis, Matthew or Revelation?’ You must first pray before you open your Bible. Pray for God to direct you where to go and where to start. After prayer, you can open your Bible”.

Concluding, the man of God urged Christians to make the most judicious use of the forthcoming New Year as a time to suffuse themselves in the Word of God: “There is no better way to celebrate the upcoming New Year than to have God’s Word in your heart. Christians today don’t have a basic knowledge of God. It’s like a student who did not learn ABC but now wanted to write someone’s name. It can never be possible”.
Earlier on, the service began with a powerful message from Evangelist Evelyn Joshua titled ‘Jesus Christ, The Life Coach’. In the message, Evangelist Evelyn spoke on the need to involve God in each step of one’s journey through life, stressing that when you make Jesus Christ your Boss, you will be connected to the One who created you and thus enjoy His peace, success and contentment.
“Every human has a hunger to know He who created him or her; we all desire to experience God in a unique way,” she stressed. “Until you experience God, there would be dissatisfaction in your life.” She further encouraged the congregants, “If you know that God will rescue you in the future, you will hold steady, trust Him and not listen to the temptation to act out of character.” She concluded by advising everyone to learn from the lifestyle of Jesus Christ – ‘Our Life Coach’.

DELIVERANCE AFTER DEMONIC SEXUAL ABUSE

Stacey woke up once again in a cold sweat. The intensity of the nightmares seemed to be increasing. Dark demonic beings had been a constant nocturnal companion for the young American, ever since she was sexually molested at a tender age.

The elderly Indian lady limped forward towards her television. She was thousands of kilometres away from Nigeria and couldn’t even speak English but faith saw beyond these barriers. Touching the tiny screen as Prophet T.B. Joshua was offering prayer, the supernatural power of God literally pulsated through her body!

Mrs Kovvada Jessica, a senior nurse by profession, was in India when she discovered Emmanuel TV on the internet. Her mother, who had fractured her hip in a horrific accident, was on the sickbed at the time for over one year. Strengthened in faith by the miraculous clips she watched on Emmanuel TV, she introduced her mother to the channel and encouraged her to pray along with Prophet T.B. Joshua. As the prayer point, ‘Dry bones – rise again’ was being offered, she touched the screen and received instant healing, able to walk freely for the first time in one year.

As Jessica’s love for Emmanuel TV grew, so did the blessings of God. MIRACLE BABY AFTER 14 YEARS OF BARRENNESS

SEX-CHANGE CANCELLED: I AM NOW A GIRL!

“If I was not brought up in a Christian home, I probably would have undergone a sex change,” Jorine Venhuizen, a visitor from Holland explained to The SCOAN congregation.

From a very young age, Jorine felt comfortable moving with males and preferred male-dominated activities and environments. Her continual boyish tendencies were also accompanied by heavy depression and terrible, tormenting nightmares where she was oftentimes stabbed or shot.

The negative thoughts venomously whispering in her heart were so severe that suicide seemed the best option as Jorine felt both confused and condemned. To make matters worse, aggressive acne covered almost the entirety of her face, pushing the young Dutch lady to literally loathe her appearance.

Even after managing to get married, there was no genuine affection or love as it felt more like two males fighting for dominance in the house. After being introduced to The SCOAN, Jorine decided to visit from Holland. Although she received prayer, she kept silent about her secret masculine desires, even after being counselled to confess ‘everything’ before God.

On a subsequent visit, she realised that total deliverance and complete confession went hand-in-hand and openly confessed the real nature of her challenges. After exposing the destructive demon, it had no hiding place and was forcefully revealed when Wise Man Harry prayed for her at the Prayer Line.

After receiving deliverance, everything about Jorine has changed. For the first time in 34 years, she saw herself as a female, began enjoying her marital relationship and saw the painful, itchy acne dry up and disappear within a short period. As Prophet T.B. Joshua says, “Sin brings fear; confession brings freedom.” Thank You, Jesus Christ!

Sunday November 23, 2014 was another great day to witness the manifestation of God’s power at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations. As usual the church auditorium was filled to the brim with all the overflows surging with a multitude of people who came to tap from the flowing glory of God. The choir, with their inspiring renditions created the right atmosphere for the power and presence of God to radiate all corners of the church and beyond.
The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua delivered a short but very deep and incisive message, emphasising that the Word of God is unquantifiable and useful for the spiritual growth of man. No matter how small or short, the Word of God can perform wonders. He said that when a ministry is led by the Holy Spirit, the apostolic gifts will be exercised. Indeed, there is no other source of connecting with God other than through the power of faith. And Prophet T.B. Joshua said, “When you have faith, you would see beyond the situation at hand”. He saluted the faith of the congregants, especially foreigners who left their various countries to visit The SCOAN.

Prophet T.B. Joshua in furtherance of exercising the apostolic gifts moved to the Prayer Line where he said he had to go to attend to the sick in fulfilment of the promises of God to His people – “I am the Lord that healeth thee…I sent my Word and healed your disease…”. At the Prayer Line, the man of God laid hands on many sick and afflicted and to the glory of God, they received their healing and deliverance instantly.
Wise Man Christopher had earlier on delved into the scripture to give a very thoughtful message titled God’s Response. Knowing that the entire universe is embroiled in one anarchy or the other, Christians themselves are not free from the unpleasantness of certain ugly and discouraging situations that require God’s intervention. But Wise Man Christopher admonishes Christians not to think that God isn’t there: “God does not delay to take quick action when His children are passing through life threatening situations orchestrated by satan and his agents. This is because God knows that if He delays to take quick action when His children are passing through life threatening situations orchestrated by satan and his agents, then, Christianity in this world would be eradicated. And what use would Christ’s victory over satan on the Cross of Calvary be to us – God’s children”?
Citing the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, he urged the congregation to always hand over their challenges or situations unto God, explaining that, God responds when Christians see their challenges as His: “When Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego were facing hard times orchestrated by satan and his agents, they saw their situation as a mere challenge to God and that was why they did not instruct God which way to go. They simply left all to God and let Him glorify His name. That is, they simply left all to God and let Him respond to their situation. To them, responding to their situation themselves or asking God for specific needs would amount to limiting Him to certain answers. So, they said nothing in defense of themselves but simply left it to God to establish their integrity. God, in whom they trusted, rescued them and truly preserved their lives by a miracle.

Concluding, Wise Man Christopher implored the congregation to increase their faith by remaining holy and making the word of God their best companion through meditation: “How do you increase your faith? To increase your faith, please, keep your purity. To keep your purity, meditate on God’s Word day and night and do what the Word says. When you meditate on God’s Word day and night and do what the Word says, whatever you do will prosper”.

GHANAIAN BROADCASTER’S CAREER RECEIVES A BOOST AFTER DELIVERANCE

Mr. Frankie Taylor, a Ghanaian radio presenter, actor and movie producer is back again to testify to what God has continued to do in his life, reminding us that God honours those who honour Him. ANOINTING STICKER CANCELS ARMED ROBBERY CURSE

Deaconess Odunayo was plagued by a terrible curse of persistent armed robbery. Anytime she left her house or shop, they would be burgled and her valuable items stolen. This continued for 15 years. Frustrated, she was advised to consult a witchdoctor. Even though she was a deacon in her church, she felt helpless and went to collect a charm for protection. After placing the charm in her house, the problem worsened severely. Armed robbers began coming when she was still present in the house; at one point, they even woke her up in her bedroom and threatened to rape her.

Miss Angela Tanko suffered from ceased menstruation for six long years. He also revealed that there was a man she had not forgiven. She confirmed the prophecy immediately and accepted the prophet’s instruction to offer forgiveness as she was told that if she did not forgive, she would not move forward. Prophet T.B. Joshua then prayed for her and she began to feel a strange sensation. Rushing to the restroom, she discovered that her ceased menstruation had immediately begun to flow! Truly, forgiveness is the bridge to our future. Miss Tanko exclaimed that the moment she spoke the word of forgiveness, she felt peace in her heart and knew she was being renewed.

A 14 YEAR-OLD PROSTITUTE DELIVERED

When Deborah was nine years old, her mother, a diplomat in Togo, was offered a position in the United States of America. Once there, Deborah met a girl in school who introduced her to prostitution. At the age of eleven, she had started sleeping with up to four men in a day. When she was twelve, she was given a fake ID by a friend of hers. The fake ID card presented her as a twenty one year-old and allowed her to enter clubs. She also had a violent temper and would fight students and even teachers in school until she drew their blood. In her dreams, she would see herself wearing a crown. Men would appear to her in her dream and the following day, she would see the same men approach her for prostitution. She slept with married men and destroyed their marriages. She slept with men with money and they lost their money. Because of her behaviour, the officials put her in foster care for two years but she continued with the prostitution. As a result, her mother lost her position and the family was sent back to Togo. As a last resort, her mother brought her to The SCOAN for deliverance. Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for her last week and the evil spirit tormenting her life was exposed and expelled by the light of Jesus Christ. Deborah testifies that since her deliverance, she no longer finds herself in the satanic kingdom in her dreams; she has no desire to sleep with men and regrets her former behaviour towards herself, her family and God.
