FROM JOB SEEKER TO BIG TIME CONTRACTOR

Having been grounded by joblessness, stagnation, hardship and limitation in progress for four consecutive years, single mother Mrs Molly Musonza from Zimbabwe resorted to visiting The SCOAN to seek divine intervention. She was even struggling to keep her two children in the local schools. It was in the midst of her struggles with life that Mrs. Musonza visited The SCOAN where she received the Anointing Water. Having a strong desire to work in the petroleum industry in her home country, she returned home, responded to a job-related newspaper advertisement, and subsequently prepared her job application.
She ministered the Anointing Water and prayed to God to restore her. Interestingly, she received a phone call that would rewrite her financial history. She was invited to an interview for an occupation in the petroleum industry. When she arrived for the interview, she was too nervous to maintain her composure. She begged to visit the ladies, where she ministered the Anointing Water and prayed to God to turn any interview questions to her favour. She was overwhelmed for there were no questions that challenged her capacity to do the job.
God lifted her up beyond her expectations. The giant company offered her a big contract as distributor of fuel, chemicals and oils in Zimbabwe. In a subsequent development, Mrs Musonza is now proprietress of her own registered company, servicing her country with petroleum products. Now that she has had a financial breakthrough, she is able to send her children to good schools. Her daughter is now at a university abroad.

ANOINTING WATER CANCELS SURGICAL OPERATION

Mrs Doris Alozie, a midwife, responded to a devastating telephone call and breathlessly raced to the hospital only to find her mother in a critical condition. Reconciling with herself that she was on the verge of dying at any moment, her mother had begun saying her final words to her father and siblings. The monitors indicated that her mother’s oxygen circulation was only 27 percent, coupled with intestinal obstruction which developed into peritonitis. Gripped by fear, Mrs Alozie reached for the Anointing Water and ministered it on her mother, in the name of Jesus Christ. Shortly after that, she heard her mother shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Her mother then asked for the bedpan and passed out a black substance, which nullified the need for an operation. Since then, she has been healthily eating well. Indeed, God had mercy on her mother and restored her back to life.

14 YEARS OF BARRENNESS BROKEN

Very often when she slept, a man would come and have an affair with her in her dreams and the side effect came in the form of barrenness. For fourteen years, Mrs Julian Moshi lived a frustrating married life, every time hoping for a baby that never came. Her loving husband was equally worried but still believed that God would perform a miracle in their life. One day, a friend gave her the Anointing Water which she and her husband ministered on themselves with faith, and then met as husband and wife. That was the end of the fourteen years of barrenness. The destructive spiritual husband was banished from their lives and Mrs Julian Moshi conceived to the chagrin of the devil. They are now the proud parents of a bouncing baby boy. To delay is not to deny. Praise God!

TEN YEAR VISA REJECTION CAGE SHATTERED

As if bound into a cage of visa rejections for a period of 10 years, Mr Olusola Olaolu would never get used to the frustration that followed each visa-request-turned-down. One day, a friend called to inform him about a job prospect abroad. He followed up and later received an invitation to travel abroad for work. Mr Olaolu carried the invitation letter along with his passport to apply for the visa at the embassy. Looking around, he saw other people with support documents for their applications but he only had the one letter at hand. Having brought with him the Anointing Water, he ministered it and put it into his pocket. During the interview with the visa assessor, he repeatedly hit his pocket where he had kept the Anointing Water inwardly praying that Jesus Christ would come to His need. To his great surprise, while many applicants were being turned down, he was told to come back the following week, which he did and he received his visa.

BREECHED BABY CORRECTED WITH PRAYER

Mr and Mrs Gilbert Akowanou happily looked forward to welcoming their new baby to join the family, but a scan revelation of a breech presentation reduced their enthusiasm as the clock ticked towards the operating theatre. The concerned couple rushed to The SCOAN to seek a divine intervention. Mrs Akowanou had the opportunity to be arranged at The SCOAN prayer line, where Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for her. Following the prayer of the man of God, Mrs Gilbert Akowanou went back to the hospital for another scan. The results showed that her baby had turned and was now in the right position. To the glory of God, she delivered her baby safely, without an operation. Today, Mr and Mrs Gilbert Akowanou are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl.

How mighty and yet faithful God is! He continues to reign with power, breaking yokes and setting the imprisoned free. Last Sunday was no different at The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria where He prevailed over satan who brings tension and makes people to be under bondage.  The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, ministered to both viewers all over the world and mammoth congregants who came from near and far, declaring them free, in Jesus’ name. Those afflicted with evil spirits were delivered just as the sick received healing by the power of the Holy Spirit. The man of God also led the congregation in praying for the nations of the world.
Earlier, Wise Man Racine preached a message, titled, INVOLVE GOD, which centred on the need to align oneself with the right direction – God’s direction – where the Holy Spirit supplies the inspiration for what to see, hear and do. Quoting Acts 16:7, he said, “God is looking for you. He sees us when we abide in His Word and His Word abides in us. He’s looking for you because He sees something you do not see. He sees far ahead. He is busy planting the seed of what you are becoming. He is looking for you because He is the Spirit of prophecy that reveals the future events; He wants to bring the future into you, showing you the direction and destination to follow”.

VOICE OF RESURRECTION FROM HEAVEN!

Who rescues but Jesus; who saves but God! Mr Nnamdi Isaac from Anambra State in Nigeria is a living example. One day, as he was travelling on a motorcycle in a busy street, a big bus hit him. The impact was so big that the bus had its windscreen shattered. He was left with head injuries and he passed out. His inert body was rushed to various hospitals. Later, while still in the world of sub-consciousness, he heard a voice ask him where his Anointing Water from The SCOAN was. He answered the voice, “Anointing Water, I don’t have but my Anointing Sticker, I have”. He placed his hand in his pocket and fished out his Anointing Sticker. Just as he did so, he stirred and opened his eyes. He was back to life! However, none of those in the vicinity including doctors, said that they had asked for the Anointing Water. The owner of the voice remained a mystery. But one thing was true and everyone could attest to – a Heavenly voice had spoken to him and God had brought him back to life.  Explaining the experience, Mr Isaac said that whenever he is leaving home, he prays and ministers the Anointing Water to himself and carries his Anointing Sticker with him. He advised, “Believe and trust in God. Carry your Anointing Sticker with you. God will protect you, in Jesus’ name”.

FROM MARKING TIME TO FORWARD MARCH

Chief Superintendent of Customs, Ugoamadi Emeka Steven was an exemplified figure of frustration. Nothing ever seemed to be working. The term ‘promotion’ had become almost non-existent. The last time he experienced a rise was in 2008 when he was promoted to the position of Superintendent of Customs Service. After that, the pulley to the top ground to a stop and watched many people fly past him. To make matters worse, promotion was dependent on the vacancies available. It was not surprising therefore that when delayed promotions were finally due this year, he became jittery. He was so anxious that he did not know what to do. He decided to run to God and came to The SCOAN where he met the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua who gave him the Anointing Water and assured him that all was well. Back home, he prayed with it, in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for God to intervene in his case because he had no power of his own. When the names were eventually released, he discovered that his prayer had not escaped the ears of God. Today, he is Chief Superintendent of Customs Service. What he could not achieve on his own, God has given him. “Hold on to God. The Anointing Water is an instrument God is using to save His people in these end times,” he said.

PROPHECY SOLVES CITIZENSHIP MYSTERY

When Mr Benjamin Ani first came to The SCOAN, he was completely bowed down in financial bondage and looking for a quick way out of his problems. His family was experiencing financial hardship to the extent that he could not feed them the way he used to. Neither could he pay his children’s school fees. He had been a successful importer when suddenly things tumbled and crushed. All his efforts to re-establish himself yielded nothing. He was no longer the big importer he once was and was neck deep into debt. To make matters worse, he was having vicious evil attacks in which his assailants were using his wife’s face in his dreams to bring hatred and confusion in the marriage.
Reduced to nothing and living hand-to-mouth, he decided to come to The SCOAN, hoping for a divine encounter. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, called him out and gave him a prophecy. To his surprise, it had nothing to do with his financial woes or the evil forces that were giving him scary dreams. Mr Ani had expected the man of God to speak to him about his financial nightmares. Instead, the prophet asked him where his passports were. Prophet T.B. Joshua continued, saying that Mr Ani was having a hindrance with his business because if he didn’t travel, there was no way he could get his business done.
Working towards travelling out of the country, Mr Ani borrowed money in an attempt to get a visa to travel. He also put up his jeep for sale – that was the only property he had remaining. Every embassy he applied for a visa at turned him down and he became confused.  After all his efforts had failed, he decided to sit back and wait. Little did he know that God cannot be rushed and, at the same time, that every true prophet of God will live to see that which he has prophesied come to pass.
Meanwhile, the family had been embroiled in a citizenship dilemma. His wife was born in Germany – her father is a Nigerian while her mother is from France. The wife’s mother died when she was very small and the father brought her back to Nigeria.  Since then, there had been no contact with France. She tried to get a French citizenship but was told that it was not possible because the mother was no more and there was no way that the French government could trace where she was born.
Incidentally, after receiving the prophecy, Prophet T.B. Joshua had also given them the Anointing Water. Mr Ani prayed with it and ministered it, in Jesus’ name. They believed that the issue of citizenship would be good in every member of the family. After they filled in the forms, they submitted them.  Soon after that, the French government gave them citizenship – both the national ID card and passport! Soon, they will be travelling to France to establish themselves there.
“We should always have patience, especially when we are in a difficult situation,” he advised.

MIGHTY POWER THAT SEES NO RECESSION

Recession is no laughing matter. It destroys unsparingly. Companies close and people lose jobs. It explains why Mr Koketso Selekanyo from Botswana was exasperated when meltdown crept into their national economy. He watched businesses close one after another and became increasingly worried over his own which specialised on selling hydraulic parts for machines. He was dismayed and asked Jesus to help give him direction.
Not long afterwards, he had the opportunity to come to The SCOAN where he was prayed for and given the Anointing Water. When he went back to Botswana, he started to pray with the Anointing Water and ministered it in his office and shop. He prayed to God to rescue his business. Before he knew it, many customers started to call his company wanting to buy from him. His company started to grow beyond his expectation. It was like there was no recession at all to the extent that he was able to buy a brand new car! Mr Selekanyo decided to share his blessings through philanthropy and started to bless the community around them. Since that time, God has blessed him tremendously and he now orders products from as far away as China.
He advised, “When problems come, kneel down and ask Jesus to give you direction. As you continue to minister the Anointing Water, God will continue to bless you more and more”.

PROMOTION SHOCKER AFTER ANOINTING WATER

Every time Mr Gabriel Kalumbu from Zambia stepped out of his house and headed for work, he would be worried. Not that he hated work but it was like he was working for free. He was facing serious stagnation in every area of his life. Even after working for five years for a company, he had nothing to boast about. He travelled to many places and attended so many prayer houses in search of solution but found none. It was as if God had closed His ears to his cries. He could not help but wonder if his relentless predicament was born out of sin. It was in the midst of such a struggle with life that he came to The SCOAN where he received the Anointing Water and Anointing Stickers for his house and car. To his greatest surprise, after ministering the Anointing Water, for the first time in five years, he was called and got the promotion that had always eluded him! In line with his promotion, his salary doubled! To put icing on the cake, he was able to purchase two vehicles! He advised people to have faith in God.

GOD DOES AS HE WILLS!

Last Sunday service was another demonstration of how abundantly willing the almighty God is to set His people free from bondage and for the salvation of their souls.  The service, which was highly charged with the moving force of the Holy Spirit, was indeed another manifestation of God’s holiness and might over darkness and evil as the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua and the wise men, ministered to the congregation, in Jesus’ name, breaking all kinds of yoke in the lives of the congregants and viewers of Emmanuel TV. Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for the sick at the prayer line, prophesied and delivered many from evil afflictions in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Earlier on, Wise Man Daniel preached on a life-transforming message titled: ‘God Does As He Wills’ which centered on God’s sovereignty in executing His master plan in people’s lives. Choosing 1 Samuel 16:6-13 as proof text, he emphasised that while Prophet Samuel considered appearance, size and experience in the warfare when sent by God to anoint one of the sons of Jesse, God Himself had chosen the least among them.

He preached, “By His grace, God looked at the shepherd boy, David and saw in him a mighty king. Today, when we are looking for a friend, a partner or someone to head the church, we are tempted to look only at the externals – outward qualities such as speaking skills, educational background, ability to inspire people, friendliness and talent. God chooses grace rather than works.”  He reiterated that God is not looking for the qualified but those available; not for the proud and arrogant but the humble in heart.
“As members of Christ’s body, we should do our duties as allotted to us by God who is the giver of various spiritual gifts and not to be envious of other gift-carriers because engaging in envy and jealousy, eventually makes you to grumble, murmur and rebel against God or query His supremacy,” he said.

DEGENERATIVE DISCS KNOCKED BACK INTO PLACE

Hon. Isaac Kwasi Kodobisah was a smart politician in his city of Ho, Volta Region in Ghana. Many people liked him. He had all the attributes of a great politician and it was no surprise that the presidency appointed him Mayor of the city which he served with diligence until the devil came knocking and hit him with a terrible disease. What started as a mere back pain, soon aggravated into a terrible illness and his fears were confirmed when he visited the hospital one day where the doctor told him, “Sir, you have a degenerative disc disease.” Hon. Kodobisah could not believe his ears. It was like a death sentence had been pronounced on him. He knew what it meant – restricted movements which would eventually knock him out of his political career, unless a miracle was found. He could not eat or sleep and at night, he could not lie down. As a result of his situation, he could not attend public gatherings in his capacity as Father of the city of Ho. Every hospital he visited could not provide treatment. He remained confined to his bed, away from his mayoral seat. It was just in an attempt to ease the pain that one doctor advised him to use a neck collar to support him. The doctor warned that he could end up being paralysed.  

After exhausting all human efforts, Hon. Kodobisah decided to seek the Great Physician. Still in pain and supported by a neck collar, he came to The SCOAN and was placed on the prayer line where the healing power of Jesus Christ touched and operated on him. Immediately after the prayer, he heard a noise in his back and miraculously, the discs came together back into their place. The pain left him. For the first time in what had appeared to be an eternity of agony, he was able to sleep well and lie down at night. With the Anointing Water he had received, he continued to minister it in Jesus’ name every day. Within a short while, he was restored back into the original position God had created him. He is now able to move around freely to the glory of God. He believes the best is yet to come now that he is fit and of good age. He advised that our faith in God should become stronger as we face life’s challenges.

PROPHECY EXPOSES TOP KEPT SECRET

When Miss Elysia Straub visited The SCOAN last week and registered her problems for the prayer line, she had a big secret she wanted no one to know about and yet, the affliction she was keeping to herself was the reason she had come. It was like going to the hospital and telling the doctor you have a bad headache when your biggest problem is your broken tooth. Such was the shame the affliction had brought on Miss Straub that she could not find the courage to let anyone know about it. So, somehow still believing her solution would still come, she sat with her mother in the church praying for a ‘private’ miracle until the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, walked to her and everything she had kept in secrecy for many years was made public, to the shame of the devil and the glory of God.
When asked by the man of God whether he should mention her secret problem, Elysia instantly shook her head, a big ‘no’. But the prophet was operating beyond the natural and told her that satan must be put to shame. Still, Miss Straub could not stomach the idea of her secret being exposed and repeated, “No” to preserve her embarrassing problem. However, the prophet went ahead and stated that she had the problem of bedwetting. This astonished the young girl and she instantly confirmed by saying, “Yes”, upon which the man of God prayed for her and declared her free, in Jesus’ name.
Testifying her miraculous deliverance on Sunday, Miss Straub confirmed that she had been bedwetting from childhood and that it had caused a lot of embarrassment in her life. She felt isolated, rejected and guilty within. At night, it would feel as if someone was holding her down and any time she woke up after such an experience, the bed would be wet under her. Her condition haunted her whenever the thought of getting married in future crossed her mind. She consulted many medical doctors and churches in search of solution. Alas! The problem persisted. She was not the only person in her family experiencing this embarrassment – her uncle and other family members had the same problem of bedwetting. After the prayer, she said, she felt light and since that time, she does not experience anyone pressing her down at night and she no longer has the problem of bedwetting!
“I came here to be set free and I am. Since that day, I have been happy and joyful,” she said, to the glory of God.

LOOSED FROM DRUG ADDICTION

Twenty-two year old Gabriel Fain from the USA was on the prayer line when Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied to him, during one of the previous Sunday services at The SCOAN that he could have been in prison. Gabriel did not hesitate to confirm the prophetic message but went on to tell a horrible and embarrassing story of how, despite being brought up in a strict home, he slipped out of the hands of his police officer mother and a mentoring pastor to become a drug addict. While attending theology school, Gabriel stumbled upon illicit drugs, tried them and got chained to them for a very long time in his youthful years. He would sneak away from home, the church and the theology school to satisfy his “undying” flame for drugs of various types. Not only did his continued use of hard drugs compromise his mental faculty, speech and physical well-being but it also rendered him homeless. Apart from deriving joy in getting high after taking the drugs, Gabriel recalled that he always passed out on the smallest quantity he took. On several occasions, whenever he visited the restroom and took drugs, he would pass out and was always found half-naked. There was a time when the police cautioned a disoriented Gabriel for exposing himself in public.
Alarmed by the rate at which Gabriel’s health was deteriorating, the mentoring pastor sent Gabriel off to return to his mother. The pastor gave him an Anointing Sticker and a plane ticket to go back home. With his reduced mobility, Gabriel had to be wheeled at the airport. Upon arrival, his mother did not recognise him; Gabriel had to wave to attract her attention.  At home, he started watching Emmanuel TV on the internet. During one of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s prayers that engaged the viewers, Gabriel touched the screen and prayed with him and all of a sudden, his speech returned to him. He started to sound intelligible from that point on. His relationship with God started to improve. He decided to come to The SCOAN where he received a word of prophecy from Prophet T.B. Joshua, who told him to disconnect from three past friends who had a toxic relationship with him. Gabriel has since disconnected from his bad past.
“Since my deliverance, I do not have the desire for drugs anymore,” he said and advised the youth to quit drugs, saying, “The devil is out there to steal your soul”.

TWENTY YEARS OF CHAIN SMOKING SMASHED

Enslaved and chained by the spirit of smoking for 20 years, Uchenna Okonkwo admitted that he had done everything within his human powers to stop the habit. He used to smoke different brands of cigarette and up to 40 sticks a day. Mr Okonkwo subscribed to medical doctors’ collective recommendation that he should undergo therapy to alleviate the addiction. His attempt to get rehabilitated fell flat; he remained a chain-smoker. Throughout his one-man battle against an addiction he had wanted to kick out of his life, Mr Okonkwo did not have prior knowledge about Emmanuel TV. One day, he travelled to Nigeria with foreign investors. While at the hotel, he was flipping through television channels when he suddenly stumbled on Emmanuel TV. He watched Prophet T.B. Joshua pray for viewers and something pushed him to join in the prayer as the man of God prophetically said, “Viewers all over the world, anything that connects you to a bad habit, be broken in Jesus’ name.”
After the prayer, Mr Okonkwo fell asleep, and his heart’s desire to depart from the smoking habit culminated in an encounter he would have in his dream.  He saw Prophet T.B. Joshua wearing a white garment and shiny face pray for him. When he woke up the next morning and tried to smoke a cigarette, his body resisted. After his in-sleep deliverance from smoking, Mr Okonkwo decided to visit The SCOAN to meet for the first time Prophet T.B. Joshua whom God had used to deliver him. When he came, he sat at the back away from the view of Prophet T.B. Joshua and told himself, “If indeed he is a man of God, he will locate me here.”
To his greatest amazement, as Prophet T.B. Joshua moved about ministering to people, he came to where Mr Okonkwo sat and told him, “This is foreign affair. I don’t know how it will happen. There is a certain document of yours in a foreign country. It has to do with immigration issue.”
Convinced that his deliverance from the 20 years of smoking addiction through a dream after watching Emmanuel TV was not ordinary and that the prophetic message he received in person demonstrated that Prophet T.B. Joshua is a true man of God, Mr Okonkwo advised, “Distance is not a barrier to your healing and deliverance. Have faith that it will work for you. It is real”

SHATTERED MARRIAGE SALVAGED FROM THE ROCKS, RESTORED!

For South African residents Chief Maxwell and Miss Linda Ejiogu, their marriage of many years was no better than a horror movie that should have ended sooner than it started. It was like the devil had hijacked it and smashed it on the sharpest of rocks, disintegrating it into bits and pieces.  South African-born Linda Ejiogu had been married to her Nigerian husband for at least 17 years but their matrimonial home in South Africa had never known peace in the true sense of the word. They had an on-and-off stormy relationship to the extent that Mrs Linda Ejiogu finally resorted to filing divorce papers. Their daughter, Ngozi was also caught in the midst of the domestic battle. Chief Maxwell had decided to keep Ngozi in Nigeria under the pretext of mastering the Nigerian culture. But Linda wanted her daughter back, and so she considered involving the authorities. As a result of such tom-and-jerry type of domestic affairs, the bench, therefore, became their only problem-solving premises until she came to The SCOAN and the man of God prophesied to her about her marital problems and sent for the husband in a divine effort to bring the broken marriage together.
Left jaw-dropped by the revelation, Linda accepted back all the divorce and other court papers that had been served her husband. On his part, Chief Maxwell expressed that upon shaking hands with the man of God, the then “unquenchable” anger in him became extinguished at the instant. He told the congregation that when the man of God stated that their marriage was from Heaven, he felt calm. “I love my wife,” he said, and Linda lit up with a warm smile across her face.
Expressing her belief and trust in the man of God, Linda reckoned that her marriage could still work. For a couple who could not see eye-to-eye before, they started engaging each other in cordial and healthy conversations thanks to the deliverance they received at the prayer line. Having previously felt rejected, undesired, and the like, Linda expressed her gratitude for the existence of Emmanuel TV. She said that she would not have known about God’s existence if not for Emmanuel TV. She also put across her willingness and desire for the two of them to raise their children together as a family.
A formerly easy-to-anger Linda has now transformed into a calm person and departed from the habits of smoking and consuming alcoholic beverages. In her testimony, she expressed how she now sleeps peacefully since her deliverance at The SCOAN. “All is well with my family,” she added. She also said that upon her return to South Africa, she will meet with her attorney to withdraw the divorce papers.
Sharing the joy in the reunion of her parents, Ngozi said that when she first heard that her parents wanted to divorce, it made her sad and unhappy. “But now, I am so happy for what Jesus has done,” she said. Based on their experiential insight, the couple advised married couples to always seek the face of God first. Thanking God for the assistance they received through Prophet T.B. Joshua, “It is important to have God as the foundation for marriage,” they agreed.

Last Sunday was, by all descriptions, one of shocking revelations as light subdued darkness and triumphed over wicked principalities that have continued to perpetrate evil among mankind! What started like any normal day of worship at The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria blossomed and erupted into a day of glory when the name of the Lord was hugely magnified as He demonstrated His infinite power to protect and defend His children from evil machinations!
The service began with a message from Wise Man Christopher who taught on the nature of God as Spirit and why He is worthy of all the glory. He preached with boldness and insight on the message: “THE REAL OBJECT OF WORSHIP”, beseeching the congregants and viewers of Emmanuel TV to know the God they worship lest they give reverence to idols – anything that is placed above God in their hearts. Aided by the scripture in John 4:23-24 as proof text; he said God is Spirit for He is an infinite and eternal mind, an intelligent being, incorporeal, immaterial, invisible and incorruptible. If God were not a Spirit, he said, He could not be perfect, infinite, eternal, independent, or the Father of spirits.

Wiseman Christopher

He said, “If we do not worship God who is a Spirit in the Spirit, we neither give Him the glory due to His name nor do we perform the true act of worship from which we can hope to obtain His favor and acceptance. Therefore, we miss the end of the worship which is the salvation of our souls. Then, it means we worship ourselves.”
Wise Man Christopher said because God is Spirit, Christ came to declare God to mankind that God is a Spirit in the Spirit. “Remember, in the beginning, God, a Spirit, spoke and created the material. This shows that the Spirit is greater than the material. Therefore, we no longer need to go after the symbol when the real object is around, and Jesus is the real object of worship. By His resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ has demonstrated that He is worthy of being the object of our faith, belief and the centre of our own world,” he said.

CYCLE AND CURSES OF LIMITATION BROKEN!

The phone rang. Not again, Dr Catherine grimaced. She had just received her salary and was accustomed to the bad news that would immediately accompany this. Another family member had died. As she dropped the phone, thoughts began racing. She was a senior lecturer at a prestigious Nigerian University with a healthy salary yet as quickly as the money came, it seemed to disappear.

Whether it was organizing the burial of a late family member, attending to sudden responsibilities that emerged without any invitation or spending on hospital bills for strange ailments – money could not stay in her hands. Instead of her to spend money, it was spending her! It was becoming too much. As lectures concluded one day and students left the classroom, Dr Catherine returned to her office, knelt down by her chair and began to weep. Unbeknown to her, a student was in the vicinity. Moved at her lecturer’s tears, the student advised her to buy a cable with Christian channels, specifying that if she could tune into Emmanuel TV, her situation would turn around!
Through watching Emmanuel TV, hope resurfaced for the lecturer and she decided to visit The SCOAN. Her financial situation was so severe that she even had to borrow money from fellow lecturers to visit Lagos. The receiving of the Anointing Water signaled the start of a remarkable chain of events that transformed Dr Catherine’s fortunes. The strange events that encroached her each time she received her salary, disappeared, enabling her to save up some funds for the very first time! Shortly afterwards, she was able to buy a car of her own. She further testified that because the Anointing Sticker was placed on her car, even though she lived in an area notorious for criminals, no single thief touched her car. Thereafter, she began planning towards building a house, incredibly having the opportunity to purchase a plot of land. With the foundations for her new house already in place, indeed, the cycle and curses of limitation have been broken in the life of Dr Catherine Agbor.

A MEDICAL MIRACLE!

Bleep. Bleep. Bleep. The continuous drone of the life support machine was only the signs of life for the young baby of Goitseone Sekolokwane. Her twins were born prematurely, one dying shortly after birth. The other was diagnosed to have a hole in her heart and chances of survival were medically determined as being practically non-existent. Even if she were to survive, the grim prognosis was that she would be disabled for life, unable to talk or walk. With various tubes fixed to her body and machines littered around, the bed where she lay was a vast medical attempt to preserve the life of the young baby who was a mere 0.6kg when she was born at just 24 weeks. The Motswana who is a resident in Atlanta, Georgia was on the verge of despondency. Doctors had told her never to remove the tubes that enabled her to feed safely but, moved at the desperate sight of her child slowly dying, she decided to remove the tubes and feed her with a bottle.

Once nurses discovered this, Mrs Sekolokwana was charged to court for violating the doctor’s orders and her child was snatched from her care.
Desperation at its peak, Goitseone decided to visit The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria, where she was privileged to receive the Anointing Water. The first miracle was a judge acquitting her of maltreating her child and enabling the baby to be returned to her. From there, she began ministering the Anointing Water every day to her baby whilst ensuring she complied with all the medical requirements given to her. Several months later, while returning to the hospital for a checkup, the doctors in charge of her case called her to enter their office. Amazed, they told her that her baby was completely healthy and no longer needed medical devices to support her! Two years later, she is now a healthy, happy child who is walking, talking and boisterously enjoying her young life!

ANOINTING STICKER CONFUSES HIJACKERS!

“God of T.B. Joshua, save me!” It was a desperate plea triggered by desperate circumstances. A gun was pointed at Yigermal Embeka’s head. His vehicle, filled with goods for his shop in South Africa, had been carjacked by a large group of notorious bandits. The young Ethiopian had been travelling towards Johannesburg when several vehicles surrounded him, forcing him to halt.

Yigermal heard his captives arguing angrily among themselves. His prayer was seeing instantaneous results! As the disagreement within the hijackers heightened, so Mr Embeka’s prayers intensified. Shortly afterwards, the armed bandits pushed him out of the car and sped off. His life was safe but his car was still in custody of the assailants. However, Yigermal was not worried, for the car had the Anointing Stickers.
After contacting the police and describing the scene, he was told the chances of the car’s recovery were extremely slim. His faith didn’t flinch. He told the police that an identifying feature of his car was an Anointing Sticker from T.B. Joshua, written, ‘Let love lead’. Several hours later, a bemused policeman called him back, asking him to clarify about the sticker he said was on his vehicle. “Sir, your car with that sticker on it has been found and nothing has been taken,” he told him! Mr Embeka further added that at the time of his initial visit to The SCOAN he was a struggling businessman but since his return, he is now the proud owner of five flourishing shops!

SUICIDE STOPPED – HEALED FROM HIV/AIDS!

Just end it all. Dangerous thoughts whirled within. As Mr Ubon Ukpong held the disheartening medical document in his hand, suicide seemed like an easy way out of the misery. In the prime of his youth, Mr Ukpong had been tested positive to the deadly disease of HIV/AIDS. Dreams, hopes, ambitions seemed to crumble as the full realisation of what the report he was holding actually meant, dawned on him. As he struggled to compose himself, his brother arrived home. Telling him the grim news, the brother encouraged him not to lose hope, advising him to continue searching for solution. Four years down the line and Mr Ukpong’s condition had deteriorated. The once vibrant and athletic young man was a shadow of his old self.

Plagued by persistent weakness and internal aches, he barely scaled through his education and was unable to engage in any form of strenuous activity.
Introduced to Emmanuel TV while in Yobe State doing his NYSC, he decided to take a step of faith and visit The SCOAN in Lagos. Arranged at the prayer line in 2008, Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for him in the power of the Holy Spirit. As he stretched forth his hand towards Mr Ubon, he testified, a weight fell from his shoulders. Newness of life and vigour were restored in a glorious and Holy Spirit inspired instant. Several months later, Mr Ubon returned to the same hospital, a Federal Medical Center that had initially diagnosed him. The results were astounding: negative!

GOD WILL NOT ABANDON HIS PEOPLE!

Mr and Mrs Prince Emeka Jideofor faced nine years of childlessness, and did not know where certainty of ever becoming a parent would come from, as medical doctors’ diagnosis reported that the husband had a low sperm count and the wife, a tube blockage.

Described as an emotionally and psychologically distressing nine-year period without a child in their matrimonial home, the couple experienced neglect and abandonment. Mr Jideofor lamented over how it became an unbearable sight any time he came across a pregnant woman. This forced him to sometimes ask God, “When will I see my own?” On her part, Mrs Jideofor is a professional nurse who had helped others overcome their challenges while she battled with hers. Alas! She could not help herself. After exploring a number of sources for a solution to achieve conception without any luck, a friend introduced the couple to The SCOAN where they met Prophet TB Joshua, who blessed them with the Anointing Water. The couple went home, held hands, prayed and ministered the Anointing Water. They then met as husband and wife, and three months later Mrs Jideofor visited a local hospital where she was confirmed positive to being pregnant. They now have a healthy child. To God be the glory!

EMMANUEL TV BIRTHDAY BABY!

The snake’s venom seemed to sink deeper. Pain erupted. Mr Chukwuemeka awoke with a scream from the dream. The python, his constant nocturnal companion, had struck again. Plagued by terrible nightmares coupled with barrenness for five long years, Mr Chukwuemeka decided to visit The SCOAN, despite discouragement from friends. Whilst sitting in The SCOAN congregation, Prophet T.B. Joshua walked straight towards him and began to prophesy. He revealed the devilish attacks he was encountering resulted from his idolatrous background, speaking further about turmoils in his career and family. Every prophetic word was accurate, leaving Mr Chukwuemeka and his wife in tears. The night after the prophecy, a divine encounter transpired. The snake that usually came to attack him any time breakthrough was nigh returned once again.

That was the beginning of the couple’s breakthrough! The curse of barrenness and backwardness had been broken! Shortly afterwards, his wife fell pregnant. Nine months later, the miracle that God had started at The SCOAN with the prophecy was completed at The SCOAN! Wise Man Christopher prayed for Mrs Chukwuemeka, who was heavily pregnant and was experiencing complications in delivery. Immediately after the prayer, during the first prophetic Saturday service at The SCOAN, she delivered a baby boy! To celebrate Emmanuel TV’s eighth birthday and in acknowledgement of the remarkable testimony in their lives, they named their new baby boy Emmanuel!

DEMON LEAVING CAUGHT ON CAMERA

Prophet T.B. Joshua drew people’s attention to a particular deliverance that happened in The SCOAN last year. Replaying the video, the congregants were shocked to discover that as a lady was delivered by Wise Man Christopher, a physical vapour or smoke was seen leaving her body, clearly caught on camera. In her testimony, Mrs Prudencia Ngwenyi, from Cameroon, explained that she was from a family stooped in idol worship.
“I grew up with these demons. I didn’t know anything like God, prayer or worship. This kept tormenting me. I was passing through hell,” she said. Getting married at the tender age of 16, her marital home was characterised by constant fighting and violence. However, it was in 2008 when Prudencia opened a Facebook account that demons within her became all the more evident.

“I went to the internet and opened a page on Facebook. I put my naked picture there. The next day, I saw a man who wanted to be a friend.” The ‘man’ said he would help her with $30,000 if only she purchased some items for him in Cameroon. She complied but before sending her account number to him, requested to see his picture. The image that arrived the following day was shocking!
She narrated, “I saw a picture of a demonic elephant. That night, in my dream, a giant man appeared to me, saying I would work for him and seduce men to his kingdom.” From that day, Prudencia became an agent of satan, bleaching her body and going out to look for men to seduce them. It was only after viewing Emmanuel TV and seeing a similar case that Prudencia realized she desperately needed deliverance.
When Wise Man Christopher prayed for her, Prudencia explained that she saw the demons within her actually leaving her body – an old lady, a lion and a big snake.
“All of a sudden, I found myself on the floor. Something left me and another thing came in!” Ever since her deliverance, Prudencia testified that her life had totally transformed. Her marriage is now peaceful, her business prosperous and the terrible nightmares she once had have become a thing of the past. “I thank Jesus for saving my life, for putting the devil to shame,” she said.
